Sweet Pastry Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pc of egg; beaten slightly
2 Tbsps of sweetener (Splenda)
1/4 tsp of salt
1 tsp of almond flavoring (or extract)
3/4 c of flour (oat bran)
1/4 c of flour (almond meal)
3 Tbsps of melted butter
Instructions:
Combine the eggs, sweetener, salt, almond extract, flours, and melted butter inside a mixing bowl; mix them well. Place inside the refrigerator for half an hour. Roll the dough out in between 2 parchment papers, and fit it into an 8-inch or 9-inch pie dish; press gently onto the dish. Bake inside the oven at 425 degrees F for eighteen mins.
