Pecan Chips Crisps Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 c of flour (vital wheat gluten)
1/8 c of flour (almond)
1/2 tsp of baking powder (Calumet)
1/2 tsp of mustard (dry)
1/2 c of softened butter
2 c of shredded cheese (sharp Cheddar cheese or Swiss cheese)
1/2 c of pecans; broken or chopped to small pieces
1/8 tsp of cayenne pepper
1/4 c of whey protein
Instructions:
Sift together the flours, Calumet, pepper, and mustard inside a bowl. Cream the butter then gradually add the nuts and cheese, blend thoroughly. Gradually add the mixture of flour while blending continuously.
Divide the dough into half and make into rolls, about 1.5 inches diameter, then wrap with aluminum foil. Place inside the refrigerator for three hrs or for over a night. Preheat the oven at 400 degrees F.
Slice the rolls thinly and arrange onto buttered baking sheets. Place inside preheated oven and bake for six mins. Let them cool on the racks.
