Monte Cristo Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients:
4 Tbsps of softened butter
8 pcs of bread slices (Atkins Bakery White or Rye)
4 tsps of mustard (Dijon)
8 oz of ham slices (smoked)
8 oz of cheese slices (Swiss)
8 oz of breast slices (turkey, roasted)
4 pcs of eggs (large)
1/3 c of cream (plus 3 Tbsps of water)
1/2 tsp of salt
Instructions:
Spread mustard on four (bread) slices. Divide the turkey, ham, and cheese onto the bread and top them with the remaining slices. Gently press and flatten them.
Combine eggs, salt, and mixture of cream inside a bowl; mix thoroughly. Place butter in the griddle above moderate heat till melted then dip the sandwich onto the batter till well-coated. Cook the sandwiches for 3 to 4 mins each side till golden.
