Garlic Toast Recipe
Ingredients:
3 Tbsps of oil (olive oil)
3 pcs of garlic cloves; crushed
2 c of Bake Mix (Atkins)
1 Tbsp of baking powder (Calumet)
1/2 tsp of salt
2 pcs of eggs; beaten lightly
1 c of club soda
Instructions:
Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F. Place garlic and oil inside a microwave-safe bowl. Cook at high setting till garlic becomes golden or for a min. Set on the side. Lightly spray (vegetable) oil onto an 8×4 inch (loaf) pan.
Combine Atkins mix, salt, and Calumet inside a bowl. Add soda, a tablespoon of garlic/oil, and eggs; beat thoroughly. Transfer the dough onto the pan. Bake for an hr. Transfer the bread on the rack; let it cool for 20 mins.
Increase the temperature of the oven at 400 degrees F. Slice the loaf to 20 pieces. Arrange the slices onto a cooking sheet then brush gently with the half of remaining garlic/oil. Bake for 7 mins. Flip then brush them with the remaining garlic/oil. Bake again for 7 mins.
Let them cool then store inside an airtight jar or container and must be consumed within three days or wrap tightly and store inside the freezer. Frozen toasts must be consumed within two mos.
