French Toast Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
6 eggs (large)
1 teaspoon of artificial sweetener (Splenda)
1/4 c of almond-meal
1/4 teaspoon cream-of-tartar
1/4 c of Atkin’s bake-mix
Instructions:
Have the eggs separated then place them onto separate bowls. You beat eggwhites together w/ your artificial sweetener & cream-of-tartar ’til stiff-peaks form.
You beat eggyolks then you add your bake mix & almonds, mixing well. You add one spoonful of eggwhites in then combine thoroughly.
You drizzle your egg mix over eggwhites then fold it in ’til well-blended.
Grease one 8-inch loaf-shaped pan then spoon batter into it. Have it baked at 350 degrees F for about 15 mins then adjust heat to 325 degrees F and continue baking for about 15 mins more.
Once baked, you remove it from your oven at once then you turn it loaf top-side down into wire racks to cool.
