Chicken and Dumplings Recipe
Ingredients:
2 medium cans of chicken stock
1/4 c of butter
1/4 c of finely-chopped carrots
Salt
Pepper
A pinch sage
1 tsp of dry oregano
1/4 tsp of garlic; minced
1 pack Keto-French Bread-Machine mix
2 Tbsps of thick cream
1 c of water
1 beaten egg
1 1/2 c of diced chicken breast (cooked)
1/2 tsp of dry basil
1 tsp of dry parsley
1/2 c of finely-chopped celery
1/4 c of finely-chopped onion
Instructions
Combine onions, stock, water, butter, carrots, celery, sage, parsley, oregano, basil, garlic, pepper & salt in soup-pot then boil ’til carrots, celery & onions are bit soft. You add the meat then continue boiling for 10 more mins.
Mix egg w/ thick cream in separate bowl then add 1/4 c of watr. Pour bread-machine mix into another bowl then add cream-egg mixture, stir.
Add more water gradually ’til you achieve a moist-stiff dough. You drop 2 tablespoonfuls of dumplings right into boiling broth then wait ’til it rises & forms. When all the dough has been added to broth, cook for 5 mins more.
