Chicken and Bacon Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
16 ounce pack of Cauliflower (frozen); thawed and diced
4 chopped onions (green) w/ tops
1 & 1/2 c of thick cream
3 Tbsps of butter
3/4 teaspoon of nutmeg (ground)
12 ounces pack of bacon
13 ounces can of chicken stock
3/4 c of grated cheese (Parmesan)
1/2 teaspoon of garlic-salt
Instructions:
Have the cauliflower diced into hash-brown size pcs then set them aside.
You cut bacon in to 1/2-inch pcs then saute ’til about to crisp. You add the onion & continue to simmer for few mins more.
You add the chicken then cook ’til heated through. You transfer into bowl then reserve 1 Tbsp of bacon oil in skillet.
You add the cream into oil then simmer it slowly for few mins. Add the Parmesan & garlic-salt, stirring ’til blended well. You add the bacon-chicken mix back into the pan.
You then add the butter then stir. Add the caulifower, toss ’til coated well w/ sauce. You scatter the nutmeg all over the dish then turn off the heat. Have it covered for 5 mins before serving.
