Almost Oatmeal Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
2 ounces of flour (soy)
2 ounces of whey protein (Isolate, french vanilla)
1/2 teaspoon of guar gum (xanthan gum)
1/4 teaspoon of soda (Arm & Hammer)
1/4 teaspoon of ginger
1/4 teaspoon of clove
1/4 teaspoon of mace
1 Tablespoon of cinnamon (ground)
1/16 teaspoon of salt
2 ounces of sweetener (Splenda)
2 ounces of sugar (brown)
1 piece of beaten egg
4 ounces of wheat bran
3 Tablespoons of melted butter
2 ounces of water
2 Tablespoons of cream (heavy)
2 ounces of pecans; chopped
Instructions:
Combine whey protein, soy flour, wheat bran, guar gum, soda, ginger, clove, mace, cinnamon, salt, sweetener, and sugar inside a mixing bowl. Combine beaten egg, water, melted butter, and heavy cream on another bowl; mix thoroughly and add the mixture of flour. Incorporate well and fold in the pecans.
Drop spoonfuls of batter onto a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for 8-12 mins.
