South of the Border Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
2 lbs of beef (ground)
1/2 c of chopped onion
1/2 tsp of garlic (powder)
8 oz of tomato paste
8 oz of sour cream (dairy)
1 c of cheese curd (Cottage cheese)
16 oz of shredded cheese (Monterey Jack)
1/2 c of salsa
1 can of chiles (green); chopped
Instructions:
Cook the beef till browned and drain excess fat. Add powdered garlic, onion, olives, and (tomato) sauce; cook above gentle heat till onion becomes translucent. Combine (sour) cream, cheese curd, and green chiles; mix thoroughly and pour onto a saucepan. Cover mixture with the rest of cheese.
Pace inside the oven and bake (350 degrees F) for half an hour.
