Boston MArket Style Meat Loaf Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of tomato sauce (Hunt’s)
2 Tbsps of barbecue sauce (Kraft’s, original)
1-1/2 lbs of sirloin (10%PRCTG% fat, ground)
6 Tbsps of cheese (Parmesan)
1/2 tsp of onion powder
3/4 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of ground pepper (black)
1/16 tsp of garlic powder
Instructions:
Heat oven (400 degrees F). Combine tomato and barbecue sauces inside the saucepan above moderate heat. Let it heat thoroughly till it starts bubbling; stir often and take out from heat. Add sauce mixture onto a mixing bowl with meat, but save two tablespoons.
Mix thoroughly by hand till blended well. Add cheese, salt, pepper, garlic and onion powders; mix thoroughly and add flour. Transfer meat onto a (loaf) pan then cover with foil. Place inside the preheated oven and bake for half an hour.
After half an hour, take meatloaf out from oven and remove foil; drain fat off. Slice meatloaf to eight pieces and pour over the saved sauce, but do not spread it. Bake again for 25-30 mins, uncovered. Let it cool then serve.
