Blackened Beef Brisket Recipe
Ingredients:
3 to 4 lbs of beef brisket (well-trimmed)
1 Tbsp of seasoning (or hot and spicy seasoned salt)
1/2 tsp of hot sauce (Tabasco)
2 Tbsps of water
Instructions:
Preheat the oven at 325 degrees F. Rub seasoning on the brisket. Cook on an iron-cast skillet, sprayed with the vegetable spray, till browned. Place the brisket on a rectangular foil. Mix Tabasco and water then spoon onto the brisket and seal.
Place the foil inside a baking dish. Bake inside the preheated oven at 30 to 45 mins for every pound of meat till tender. Let it stand for 15 to 30 mins then slice and serve.
