Beef Stroganoff Recipe
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp & 1 tsp of oil
13 oz of beef strips (lean)
1 pc of garlic clove; crushed or minced
1 pc of onion; sliced finely
3 oz of sliced mushrooms
1 Tbsp & 1 tsp of brandy
1 Tbsp of mustard (Dijon)
1/2 tsp of thyme leaves (dried)
1/2 c & 2 Tbsps of sour cream (light)
1/4 pc of parsley bunch (leaves)
Instructions:
Place half of oil on a skillet above medium-high heat then ad beef; saute till browned. Take out from the pan; set on the side. Add the rest of oil on the skillet then saute the garlic, mushrooms, and onion for 2 to 3 mins till onion becomes translucent.
Add thyme, brandy, and mustard; saute for 2 to 3 mins. Place the meat back to cook thoroughly. Turn off the heat then add (sour) cream; stir thoroughly. Season salt & pepper then garnish parsley.
