Bearnaise Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 c of shallots (2 ozs); sliced thinly
1 Tbsp of dry wine (white)
1 Tbsp vinegar (white wine)
1 Tbsp tarragon (dried)
1/2 c of sour cream
Salt (dash)
Pepper (dash)
Instructions:
Mix the wine, shallots, tarragon, pepper, salt and vinegar together inside a saucepan. Next, boil mixture then cook for 1 min. Strain the mixture and reserve liquid while discarding the solids.
Then, return the liquid into the saucepan and put in the sour cream. Next, place saucepan on low stove heat then cook for a min or ’til warm; frequently stirring. Serves 6 containing 3.8 carbs each.
