Almond Pound Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
8 ounces of butter
8 ounces of sweetener (Splenda)
5 pieces of eggs (large)
2 cups of almonds (ground)
1 teaspoon of baking powder (Calumet)
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 teaspoon of lemon extract
Instructions:
Place almonds inside the processor; pulse till texture is fine. Combine sweetener and butter; beat thoroughly till creamy. Add the eggs individually, while continuously beating.
Combine processed almonds and Calumet; gradually add onto the mixture of egg, while continuously beating. Add the extracts. Transfer the batter onto greased 9-inch baking pan. Bake inside the oven at 350 degrees F for 50 to 55 mins.
