All Purpose Pastry Recipe
Ingredients:
4 oz of butter (unsalted)
1 c of water
1 c of flour (soy)
2 Tbsps of gluten (wheat,85%PRCTG% protein)
1 Tbsp of guar gum
1 Tbsp of sweetener (Splenda)
1 tsp of vanilla
4 pcs of eggs (medium)
Instructions:
Combine butter with water on a saucepan above moderate heat till butter has melted and mixture begins boiling. Lower down heat into gentle. Combine flour, gluten, guar gum, and sweetener; add onto the saucepan then stir thoroughly till formed to ball.
Place the pastry onto the bowl; let it cool, about five mins. Add the eggs individually, while stirring constantly. Preheat the oven at 400 degrees F. Spray nonstick cooking oil on cooking sheet.
Drop ten small mounds onto the sheet, about five-inches apart. Gently spread the mound to a rectangle (piling) dough atop. Bake for 25 mins till golden. Take out from the oven then slit them down its side. Lower down temperature to 375 degrees F then bake for another 5 mins.
Let them cool on the rack.
