Alfredo Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

2 Tbsps of margarine or butter
1 tsp of nutmeg (fresh); grated
1/2 tsp of salt
1 pc of onion ( small); sliced thinly
4 c of whipped cream
2 Tbsps of cheese (Parmesan)
1/2 tsp of pepper

Instructions:

Heat butter inside skillet on mid-high heat. Next, saute the onions ’til tender. Put in the whipped cream and bring to a boil. Stir the rest of the ingredients in. Lower the heat.

Next, cover the skillet then simmer about half an hour, stirring constantly. Makes 3 1/2 c of sauce. Serves 6; each containing Carbohydrates – 4, Calories – 287.
