Alfredo Sauce Recipe 2
Ingredients:
6 Tbsps of butter (unsalted)
2/3 c of cream (heavy)
1 c of cheese (Parmesan); grated fresh
Half a tsp of salt
White ground pepper
A pinch of nutmeg (ground)
Instructions:
Place the cream and butter into a skillet (large) over medium to low stove heat. Then, cook ’til butter will melt and mixture will bubble while stirring constantly. Cook then stir for 2 more mins. Blend in pepper, nutmeg and salt; remove skillet from the heat.
Slowly stir cheese in ’til smooth and blended thoroughly. Briefly return to the heat so cheese completely blends in but don’t bring to a boil so cheese won’t become tough and lumpy.
Serves 4; carbs – 1.9 each serving.
